With our anniversary happening, the Mrs and I decided to reenact an age old ritual from our ancient Galliformes clan. It’s a performance of the male chicken (can we still say that?) posing over the female in a subservient position ( I’m SURE we can’t say that!).
In order to actually get to do this, I had to obtain an agreement with the Discovery Channel and purchase a filming license from the the City, one from the County, another from the Township, still another from the State as well as get an approval from ASPCA and The National Audubon Society. Just to shoot a two-minute video on my cell phone.
All this for a routine that did not last any longer than it took to consummate the original relationship, back when we got married.
The Discovery Channel would not agree to my request unless I agreed to be a contestant on Naked and Afraid. I countered that I would do it but I would need to be accompanied by a vegan, everyone must be vegan.
I got an approval but not a contract.

I was curious if you ever thought of changing the layout of your website? Its very well written; I love what you’ve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. You’ve got an awful lot of text for only having one picture. Maybe you could space it out better?
