The Cowboy and Indians Museum in Norman, Oklahoma announced today that they have selected my uncle, Quickdraw McChicken, to be their newest honoree.
This brings attention to the pending lawsuit the family of Quickdraw McChicken has against McDonald’s Hamburgers over the ownership of the McChicken name. This name has been used, advertised, profited and maintained by ‘McDonalds Corporation, but obviously owned by the McChicken Family.
Rumor has it that the family may be in talks to have free McChicken sandwiches for life as a compensation proposal. Some family members have capitulated to the idea while others insist that it would seem like a cannibalistic thought they can’t get their head wrapped around.
We will keep you posted.
I remember a cartoon “Quick Draw McGraw”… He must have been created after your relative.
That’s such a refined shooting stance.
