One of Chainsaw’s later jobs started out as a ‘stringer’ for the Bumphuque, N.J. town paper and evolved into being a photographer for the county to document traffic fatalities.

After weeks of taking photos of the gory, bloody, disgusting traffic deaths, a relatively large star came through town and stopped at the coffee shop Chainsaw was relaxing in. There she was, Julie Newmar, from the show “My Living Doll” that ended in 1965. True it was 15 years later but she was still the biggest thing since Calvin Coolidge spent the night at the hotel in 1922.

Chainsaw snapped a photo of Newmar biting into a juicy pastrami sandwich.

The National Inquirer offered him $15 for this photo and his paparazzi career began.

Since then, he has been paid for many photos you have probably seen in several publications.
