Who’s in the Go-Go boots?

I was helping Grand dad Chicken clean out his room and pack things up as we decided to take him to the ‘home’ for more care than we can give him.

“Have you got all your desk draws empty?” I asked Grand dad.

“I think so”, he said.

I pulled the draw out and there was a photo that was under the drawer. I looked long and hard at the photo dated Feb of ’68. I recognized the room. That was the house I grew up in. There was Christmas decorations so it must have been taken in Dec of 1967. There was my personal B&W TV near my play things. “Hey Grand dad, who’s the chick in the go-go boots in this photo? She looks kinda familiar.”

“I don’t know” he muttered. “Just put it in the box”

“Okay,okay… she looks like someone I should recognize. Do I know her?”

“Just put it in the box. That one over there in the corner” he pointed to the far side of the room.

I carried the photo to the box and opened the lid. What surprised me was that there were those same go-go boots and a black wig wrapped in a dry cleaning bag. “Grand dad, are these the same boots that are in the picture? I quizzed him more.

“Close that box and get out of here. We can finish tomorrow. GET OUT!” he shouted.

Suddenly, I realized who was in the picture. It slapped me right in the face! “Grand dad… That’s YOU in the photo!”

He slammed the door behind me.
