There is a dark side to some of Chainsaw Chicken’s relatives. One had CIA assassin training during the cold war.
Arty Chicken was a known double agent. He had arranged to go on a hunting trip with a Soviet agent and his handler. Arty was told by the ‘Agency’ that these two agents were to be liquidated. Arty was armed with neutronium pellets on the tip of his walking stick and he was to deliver the lethal pellets into the skin of these Soviets as other previous spy assassins have done.
The Soviet spy shot a buck and brought it back to camp. Arty tried to take the opportunity and inject the pellets but the cane failed. The Soviets fought him but Arty was able to put
away both him and his handler with the notorious sleeper chicken hold. Just as he finished them off, a Park Service Ranger saw him running away with the deer carcass. He was arrested the next day.
In Arty’s hometown paper headlines read “Arty Chokes 2 for a buck!”
The local Safeway produce section was over run.
